two questions, for the same together:
- I need to create an extrusion from a hexagon and finish in a circle, a sort of tube not straight but following a curve: Can you tell me how to do this?
- I also need to draw a spring, but not uniform: or I would like the last two or three windings to be attached to each other (such as the bic biscuit spring for incedependent). Just do with a variable step spiral?
thanks to the prodigal.
Mauro.

You have to do a loft. see in the help

here you find of fact:http://solidworks.cad.de/lib_feder01.htmopen the studies models as they are realized. there is no mileage to learn that to open models already made.

Thank you for the kind and exhaustive answer!
but I have another doubt or better do not find a "comfort" way to solve and hurry: I have to cheer a cone. Suggested to draw two spirals and then cut with a triangle profile and make a repetition? It seems like a slender and uncomfortable thread.. .
Let me know, my experience in this software is still basic!
Thank you.
Mauro.

I have to chew a cone.
then it means you have time to lose and resources of the pc to throw:biggrin:
excuse the joke, but no one puts to model zigrinatures (or threads), if not in the tutorials/courses just to learn and try the features.
if you want to see it in the 3d model apply a plot of photoworks et similia, then for the constructions in the table check the classic unified notes as it has always been done and wanting to sample a small area of the affected area (as well as this was done in the 2d "amanuense").

greetings
Marco:smile:

Hello c._mauro,
I see the answers have already given you correctly.
As for springs, there are several ways to draw them:
- draw the spiral on a sketch and a circle on the other sketch and sweep
- draw an axis and circular section and make a sweep with twist along the path
- draw pieces with method 2 and join them in a set
- go to the website www.3dcontentcentral.com/ and download the macros that do all of them

I use method 2 if I have to animate the spring in the assemblies so that it fits itself. the macro method if I need to insert statically and to put in the table for production or purchase.

you were exceptional!
I had a bit of time to lose, but considering how uncomfortable you find filettare and then zigrinate in solidworks I think I will opt for what recommended!
Thank you all!
(I had indeed hypothesized in an excess of confidence in the program that there was a command that did the work of zigrination, but I believe in the background enough the plot and a note... )

I can tell you something that's related to another four-year program.
there was a special program to use with the cad (there were user function) specially developed for the diamantation of the reflectors from a surface. but it was for the purpose of a paid user developed for the fanaleria industries.

Only in that case is such a useful thing. Maybe there's a macro for swx doing this job (which looks easy, but it's very bad in terms of surfaces).
