faded block reference

Bye to all,
I have to work on a file created by others, and I know that the block reference is faded. all colors are as attenuated.
I have already done a search on this forum, finding as a solution the launch of the xdwgfadectl command and set it to 0. but it doesn't work. What do I do?

If I were you I would report the xdwgfadectl variable between 30 and 40, so you can see right away when dealing with a xrif.
set to zero you see it as if it was an integral part of the design and can generate time losses (what is it? Why don't you change it? is it on a blocked layer? No!

Doing what you told me, the setting you're talking about becomes definitive or do I have to do it again every time I open the design?

It's a log variable.
is not linked to the single file, so you don't have to change it every time.
