Good morning.
I've been starting to use for revit work recently. I was citing myself in the creation of families, especially a gutter and its rain. to perform the pluvial design a profile 2d in the family editor and then extrusion on path, inserting later (via annotations) parameters like total height and diameter. but when I go to insert the model into a project I see the parameters, I change them, but the dimensions do not change. performing a normal extrusion and inserting parameters always with annotations I have verified that the size actually change, but I need to perform an extrusion on path.
How can I solve this problem?

Are you using the reference plans? What did you connect the parameters to?

for the parameters I simply quoted the height as I had done for other pieces that I had extruded normally, without selecting the reference plan.
quoting just the whole height, as done previously, only that with the extruded solid the parameter does not seem to want to vary. :

It doesn't work that way, you know... maybe it's the case that you do a corset about creating parametric families. or I suggest you give yourself a thorough read of this volume
