Hello.
I'm a student in aerospace business with the last part of his thesis. I don't have much experience in fem (currently I'm using hypermesh, patran/nastran).
My problem is that I have to shape a welding joint, especially I have to shape the resistance of the simple traction welding joint. So geometry is quite simple, my problem is like making mesh, that is to say to the computer that the material is not homogeneous but it is formed by various zones (mb, zf, haz...).
I have a half idea, but I wanted to confront someone and maybe have advice.
Does anyone have any examples to send me?
Thank you.
