with a static analysis (like inventor) is there a way to "study" a shock?
I explain: is it possible, studying the static load, to determine the effect of a bump?

by the very definition of the thing if it is static you can never study the behavior of a shock that is dynamic. with any fem.
if you can determine with the calculator the impact force on the specific structure then you can apply the force and see how the body behaves. Even if....then the body absorbs the shock and strength while you continue to apply it constant in an instant..... you will not be able to study the impact absorption effect. so you'll get a pretty rough result.

you have to make an explicit simulation (dynamic). You can't get around with other methods. As already said, we are in the presence of great non-linearity. ls-dyna is a very popular sw example for this kind of simulation.
