Hello, everyone.
as from previous post, I am finishing the redesign of a work, but suddenly the file became unmanageable.

I searched on the forum and found 2 solutions, choose "unused eliminater" and change the file name..result, file passing from 58 mega to 22, but it always turns out and however ultra slow (while until last night was quite normal).

the model is composed of numerous walls, openings, many grooves, a little of families of profiles (more than 10), a little of continuous facades, a large glaze shaped in place and just.

as I still have to insert all the furniture (already shaped) and then I have to make different views, how do I make it manageable?
if you have to open a new 3d view it takes no less than 30 seconds. .

I ask you something:
Are you sure you used the groups? Since you have so many walls, many profiles and openings......revit puts the instrument of the groups that lightens the use of repetitive elements.
then, when this is not enough, there are the linked files.
if your building is too large you can connect through the appropriate link in the background to the project browser a file that works like xrefs of autocad .
the furnishings for example you will put them on a connected file according to the heights of the various floors etc....

the file is practically finished, I only miss a few doors, insert all the furniture already shaped and then render different views.

the problem is that being for a university course, the professor will have to open the model and explore it, and if it is so heavy it becomes difficult. .
Maybe it's the grooves in the walls..
