Good morning to all,
My name is roberto and I have been a mechanical designer for over 10 years.
I used all this time solidworks, now instead I went to proe and I have a wildfire version 2.0 shortly I should install the 4.0-

My question is the following: it is possible to change the color of the edge shading, or the edge edges of the solids.
by default they are white I would like them black.
Can you explain where and how to do it? thank you very much

greetings
roberto

Sir, give me the strength to change the things you can change.

give me the courage to accepting things that cannot be changed.

Lord, give me the common sense of distinguishing the first things from the second" ( san tommaso moro, perhaps )

it is not possible to do it if not with some "artifizio" playing on the colors but personally discouraging it; If anything I suggest you try the set of proes "show_shaded_edges yes" which however highlights them well. only after trying the setup you can visit the thread http://www.cad3d.it/forum1/showthread.php?t=17747 so you will also understand the content of the answers that have come to you until now:wink:

Yes, yes.
You can do it!
and without any artifizio (just change colors properly!)
but I don't even say it under torture
for a position socket  and
to be able to accept
He also does the Boolean operations!
and do it in different ways and better than the multi-body of other sw
and then he... many other things
etc. etc. etc.

ps roberto do not take it. is that this argument of black edges is particularly boring and unseen by pro users!

that of the black edges has become the endless story....
you have to understand that in pro-and there are not, you can get. but the program does not provide them...maybe in a future there will be. . .
I've been working with pro-e for years. I've never found them indispensable.
in other programs there are...
but the other programs are not pro-e!

roberto do not worry, to other questions (if you don't already find the answer in the forum) we will all be happy to answer. . .
You have to understand... we're crazy!
...and obviously jokes (maybe)!!!:36_1_13:

...and then among aliens there is solidarity!

Okay.

I thought it was such a simple option, but there's always to learn.

Thank you very much
