Hello, everyone.
This is my first post, I hope not to make gaffes:tongue:
So, I have a couple of issues I hope you can help me solve.
in our studio we built a 3d model of a multi-storey house using revit 2009; once completed the outside, we are now dedicating ourselves to the interior decor, and there is a doubt: Is it possible, somehow, to generate a 3d view only of some levels?
I'll explain better. we have 4 floors, and we want to make a 3d view only of the first furnished floor, and not of the whole building, as it does revit. is this possible to do automatically or should I manually hide everything I don't care?

then I would have a second question, always practical. time ago I found myself creating a revit furnished plant, and I clashed with having to assign a floor to the different premises, so that you can have, for example, the parquet in the room and the tiles in the bathroom. to do this I created several floors, one for each room, and I attributed the material. As I discovered that it is possible to assign the premises, I wonder if it is also possible to connect to the room a type of floor, so that, for example, if I check a room as "salotto", he automatically changes the floor, without having to redesign it.

I hope I was clear and apologize for the length of the post...

thank you all in advance!! !

I authorize:cool:
I just wanted to tell you that I think I solved the first problem by going to the plant of the desired plan, highlighting everything then going in the 3d I make "isola elements". then duplico the view and click "apply hide/island to the sight" and the game is done.. .

:finger:

for the first point otherwise just go to view 3d and in the properties of the latter pops up the item "section panel", you will appear a cube in wireframe that you will use to dissect the view to the level you want:)

I also had this problem and my colleague just explained this to me.

thanks aenil! great advice! was exactly what I needed.

for the second point do you have suggestions? Maybe given by your mythical colleague?! ^
