to make the plan is simple: go to the label "crash" and click on "plan" (for sketch 3d). from the two references, in the case the point that mike drew you in the "schizzo19" and the upper floor.

in 3d sketches you can put the sketch on a provisional plan that you can skill and positions like a "classical" plan.

in the company where I work, it often happens to have to deal with works as from photo attached. We should draw a semi-tube that wraps with a helical pattern on cylinder and then with spiroidal pattern on a 2-ray curved bottom. they told me that with inventor you can't do it, or better to say you do it, but with problems then with the study of the flows, I asked if with other media software (solid work/edge) you can do it. I would also like to get the developments and what else. all this because we are considering designing a 3d software. thanks

Okay, but the spiral you have attached, has a narrowing on a hypothetical cone, but in my it is a bombed bottom with two curved rays, and I should keep the " x pass" both on the cylinder and on the bombed bottom for winding the semitube. allego schizo demonstrato
