Hello, guys.
I happened to see an injection molded pin and being split right in half has signs of extractors also on the matrix side (fix).
I assume it is made to ensure that the piece does not remain in fixed plate.
Have you ever designed molds with this kind of extraction?
Thank you.

Hello bix
I don't know what a pin is.
usually for symmetrical pieces
creates a small insignificant subframe aesthetically
in the mobile part where there are extractors
or you could use a third mobile plate that accompanies you the piece at the opening of the mold
or create a table or extractive plate in the fixed part with a series of springs
that at the opening of the mould acts by accompanying the piece
or you could study a series of underwater or submerged injection channels
that hold you the piece in the mobile part
if you take a tour on the web you will find info
Thank you very much

friend shiren, how many or

the dear reality bix is that every printed piece becomes history itself for a bunch of reasons.
if you have found a segnet on the extraction side the reasons as it has rightly explained shiren can be multiple.
Sometimes even an experienced designer understands why, only those who did the job can explain it..

I add one or ..
or the piece has a version with holes that have been closed in your version:wink:

thanks shiren and ipdesign for the celere answer and valid observations

In fact I would like to draw just a fixed part extractive plate with springs. That's the idea. do you have links to suggest?
Tnks.

I have always discarded the fixed extraction with springs in favor of the safest movement with hydraulic pistons or at least worse with side pulling devices

I can't show you anything because my works are covered by confidentiality to customers and I can't disclose them.

great paolo!!! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
This is a job where experience is fundamental
where inventing the solution is an art
where to impose its solution means to crowd the risk
Thank you very much

Hello bix,
that as they have rightly pointed out each case is to itself and should be known a little better the part,
I think the extraction under fixed-side springs is good if you have to release subsquadri with sabers in extraction during the mold opening. In this case, however, it is assumed that the piece remains in part mobile and eventually extracts it from there.
otherwise if you think of designing a reverse mold with piece that remains on the fixed side and extraction on that side, honestly I would avoid the springs and pass to actuators.
