hello to all, in addition to the "flexible" cable chain (see other post) I also have to make flexible tubes, how do I create a hose that is flexible in a set moves? in the sense that it moves changing shape... .

I'm not sure I totally figured out what you mean, but if you build a pipe with a 3d sketch sweep, modifying the pipe. at this point if your 3d sketch is built in such a way as to follow the geometries that move then the tube fits. difficulty can reside in the identification of the plan for the basic sketch of the sweep...

Given my response to your post on the chain, for flexible tubes you can use the same procedure. create a part for the hose with a sweep. the portions of the path sketch of the sweep leghi parameterically through equations to the same sketch of layout of the axieme that guides the creation of the chain.

If you do a motion study it works because the frames are rebuilt.
