flexible pipes and chain v5

Sorry if I put this question in different forums, but I'm not a designer, and I'm trying to document something.
is it possible in catia v5r17 to shape a part that is a hose?
I explain I have a catpart that by default is a straight tube.
in the context of my assembly I would like to see that several istances of the catpart
depending on where it is used, like gas tubes.
I was told by a designer not. That's really weird.

It is a bit that I don't mention with v5, but the first thing that comes to mind is to create different leotards inside the catpart (I think they will be sweep originated from a polyline) and then display from time to time the one most suitable for the position of the flexible you have in the assembly.
I understand that maybe it's not what you hoped for, but it's a start, if something comes up to me, I get resentful.
