Hello I am a student-worker (very worker and little student) 38 year old graduating in mechanical engineering, I have to do the thesis of the three-year so nothing that ... I have to use fluent (I already know a bit from some work experiences in my peregrinating among companies of the automotive sector as a consultant on nx) .... to make my tesina, I had a good idea to install it on linux.... (a red hat) ... after some test simulations... (one of which interrupted) ... fluent no longer leaves me
and give me the message:
cannot open dump file "fluent.dmp.114-32"
error unable to open dump file
()
error encountered in critical code section
hit any key to exit Now the first thing that jumped into my head was the "nice idea" ... in great thought ... of the type "the dump file will be some image of the simulation that I had broken the gate and then he departed ...." no! persevera in the error ....
gambit instead part....
I before re-installing it I would like to understand if there is any way to unlock it, like a lock file something, I did a google search on the error, I found a forum on ubuntu, I followed their directions (they talked about starting it using the bash 3.0 which was installed) but nothing! ...and though it was a boot script execution problem, it would not have occurred after 5.6 perfect alerts ...
any ideas or I have to reinstate everything I keep this atroce doubt....
Thank you, Corrado
