Hello.
as from attached photo I should realize a type of fold on a sheet of which I can not find in inventor 2010 automatic procedure. I did not find suggestions in the help to make the diagonal cut of 2 nearby folds. Thank you.
greetings

the command is flange, after making the first, do the second two in the same command select the two edges and make the cut at 45° automatically

In fact, when I apply the 2 side flanges the error message says that the folds overlap with the initial central one. Is there any setting to set? Thank you.

Hello, can anyone confirm that the procedure is not applicable to the "bord" command (the classic folder for unquestioning)?
If so, does anyone know how to automatically fold on two or more contiguous edges?
Thank you.

Hello everyone
autocad use for 6 years and I would definitely switch to inventor,
would you tell me where I can take basics to use inventor?
Thank you very much

the edge command unlike the flange command does not allow you to select multiple sides at a time and then also the angle that in flange creates alone the cut at 45 degrees, with the edge do not realize it. sin.

hi, I was trying with the 2023, same problem, does not want to know or better, with sheet sp.1 mm you do the 1st edge on 4 sides with extension in height of 3 mm (it is the least that accepts ) then the operation always repeats on the 4 sides/bords of the size you need and the operation succeeds. certainly is not a crushed fold as it normally happens in the workshop but I think it is a good compromise even if the distance between the faces is equal to 2 mm....
we need to settle.
solidworks, on the other hand, digests it without problems... .

by curiosity, with more crushed what do you mean?
Do you use the same fold radius they use in the workshop?

Hi, I don't see where I wrote more crushed.
anyway I found how to bypass the obstacle and get a good if not good result.
I'll have a dedicated post that I'll link here.
