with mechanical there are automatisms for which certain entities are placed on specific layers with defined the characteristics of lines and text (settable in the dwt model). like classic quotas.
if set the creation of notes with fixed color lines and text da layer, when changing target layers should also change the text.
I would personally make the text with color from block Why:
- mainly to change layers it makes useless the automaticity of mechanical and at that point it is worth using autocad or the autocad commands (dirrapid works also in mechanical)
-put odds and annotations on random layer I find it barbaric and fucilation*
- keeping the line manager da layer and the text from block increases the possibility of pyrotechnic shows with a thousand different colors (exclusively for fanatics, can create dependence, abstain minors and pregnant women. aut.min.ric)

with dirrapid seems to work.. .
My need was to put notes on a drawing not made by me, every note had to have a specific color that referred to a legend. With mechanical (which I recently used draftsight) I can't, acting on styles, create a color note other than others.
