Hi.
I am doing exercises with inventor, using the command “insert frame”.
Since these frames are quite large and complex, I'm comfortable creating within the assemblies that I correspond to the welded.
to make this first rub the commands made available by inventor for the frames in order to cut the profiles properly.

then create welded assemblies by inserting the respective parts through the reverse command (demote / promote). But at this point I can no longer use the commands of the generator (e.g. extension, size), this is the first problem.
to solve I have to return the profile to the original state, (promotion command) and then retrocede it again. However, in order to reinsert it into the right welded assembly, I must always hand-written the name of the axieme.

I wonder if I'm wrong. if I use the functions of inventor incorrectly, do you have advice?

Excuse me, but what version do you use?
in 2015, 2014 and 2013 (but I also think before) in the frame-generated axieme frame of the frame generator, if you select two or more members and do lower level with frame generator, you can always use the change commands type size/extended, length etc.
remains the problem that you can't use the drag&drop of the members from one sub-assiem to another as you do in the normal assemblies. If you have to add a member to a subassieme already created the level selection/lower and write the name of the existing axieme.

".................. in the axieme frame generated of the frame generator,................................................ you would be so kind to explain how they are created and what steps should I do to get those files with inventor 2011 in English

thanks from now on
