I would like to understand if there is a fire-fighting course, maybe free to follow for those who are afraid to work with flammable material? thanks in advance

if we talk about workplace is all regulated. the single text (law 81/08) defines what is necessary to work safely. excuse the synthesis, but the topic is very vast. among the various needs is to have a person who has done the anti-cendium course and that keeps it renewed (otherwise it is not valid). there is the need to have adequate equipment, depending on the risk, etc... in the case of a technical study, a powder or co2 extinguisher is sufficient and the training to use it. These courses are not usually free, the possibility to do it for free you can have it with bands through authorized agencies, I made them and paid everyone, I was not lucky. I know companies that through cna did everything for free.

I see it hard for free. Free courses are not actually! who is enrolled in the cna pays the quota and certain courses make them free!

I, low risk, when I did the course I used both exntintors on a tub of one meter in diameter with some caselium burning and like me the other 10 participants in the course. I see it hard to use 20 free extinguishers.. .
then I know that there are actually courses that give them to you along with the detergent :smile: But in the end, in case of problems for the inadequacy of the security officer, I see it hard to recognize it as valid courses.

I do, I'm at low risk and I did the exam. excess of zeal? I don't know, but they made me use of the extinguisher I have in the office and I think it's useful. If it happens that you need those 10 minutes of practice, it's worth at least as much as the theory hours in the classroom... the hours of theory (in my opinion) are valid for prevention, not so much for the shutdown of the start of fire
