apart from the lack of presentation, which is not obligatory but left to the sensitivity and education of users, I think that this report / initiative is very important and meritorious.

The geodata are there and have been paid with the taxes of the citizens, it is right that citizens can take advantage of it freely.

as it announces the website of the national body for the digitization of the public administration, is online the portal of the national repertoire of territorial data (rndt) established by type with article 59 of the code of the digital administration.

the first version of the national repertoire of territorial data is officially launched, waiting to proceed to its inclusion in the context of shared infrastructure spc and complete the implementation of the planned features. the portal of the rndt, reachable at the address www.rndt.gov.it, is based, as expected, on the technical rules defined by the committee and adopted with dm 10 November 2011.

on the rndt portal, in the "document archive" section are available normative and technical references, including, the xsd schemes and the "manual rndt", consisting of a series of specific operating guides, which are defined and added to the manual itself.

technical rules comply with the reference standards and ensure compliance with Regulation (C) No 1205/2008 implemented by the inspire directive with regard to metadata. the operational guides for the compilation of rndt metadata on data and services, as indicated in the inspire regulation. the operating guide, also published, describes the procedure of accreditation of the administrations, which represents the first step for the subsequent feeding activities of the repertoire. This guide also contains transitional indications for existing accounts and metadata sets. it is also possible to send any requests or reports to the email address rndt@digitpa.gov.it, specially created.
