Bye to all,
I have .mi and .pkg files made about ten years ago and as from title I am trying to figure out if there is a free viewer, apparently it seems no but I ask confirmation to you that you know it. Thank you.
What's the difference between me and pkg?

Yes, there is a viewer, I do not remember whether as a license is free or if you have free installations with the license purchase.
pkg is a 3d file (usually together) my design 2d

hi, the viewer (creo view) for creo direct, does not open native formats i.e. .mi and .pkg but formats of neutral creo, .pvs .pvz and other standard.
What you need is creo express, it is cad direct modeling free of charge, but with limits. This isgreetings

It seems to me that I create express does not manage my and pkg formats. uses its specific formats, not compatible with the commercial version.

what you need is the 3d-access for pkg (a viewer that is payable), while for the 2d (file *.mi) a version of me10 (or creo drafting in the new name) should also be fine, if installed and started without license, it works as a viewer.

If it's a little stuff, send me an mp that I try to make you the steps/dxf.

You're right, I said stupid. I was convinced he could open them.
but in fact uses additional dedicated formats. as described qui

but the 3d-access is not free without license?
when I saw it, it actually left without a license but I think more about a bug than for real gratuitousness. the rest to download it you must have an active maintenance contract, and the site speaks of it as a low cost program for non-proven functions.

does not need the license, but is given along with the program, it is free to install (if you want to install it), but the installer is together with the installer of the program.

creo express uses pkg2 that are proprietary format, i.e. not usable on other pcs, but in fact with creo express you can do everything also the tables and print them (pdf included) and there are some limits type assemblies with no more than 1000 details or things like that.

3d access is actually more than one viewer, you can move the parts and assemblies, stretch them with the move 3d command and especially a few years ago, importing the steps much better than creo elements direct.
instead the environment annotation 2d of 3d access does nothing, maybe it does not update even the views.
I asked the software house if they could pass us a 2d access but for now they haven't answered me.

As for the gratuitousness of the product it seems to me that the ptc is quite ambiguous about it, when we passed to version 20.1 with pdm integration the software house first installed 3d access on a single pc that had the pdm viewer stowing even a little nose, then subsequently installed it everywhere with also integration with the pdm.

with regard to the me10 evaluation mode, when I tried the "classic" mode of version 18.1 I had inhibited the printing, while the drafting version allows the print only that I start with set creo colors, I put cocreate colors, but at the new start is again set on creo colors.

the 2d access is nothing but "me10" with the -view option in the launch link... .

off-topic question:
what pdm do you use "kaji" for curiosity?
