from autocad to 3d studio is not in scale!

Hello everyone, I have a problem: amount a 2d masterplan from autocad to 3d studio, and when extruded I realize that it is absolutely not in scale.
Yet in autocad I used meters, and in 3d studio idem.
I'm totally fucked up.

strange, if in autocad (which has no unit of measurement, but design unit that you interpret at your liking according to the scale you want to use) you have designed everything in unit meters (like a rectangle that you designed 5x5 for you are 5 meters x 5 meters), in 3d study during import, you should "say" to numb your units as meters.
have you also set the max bae units? (customize -> units setup -> system unit setup and display unit scale)

Yes, of course, as specified in my post, I impose the unit of measurement in 3d studio max. the problem is this: imagine that I made a square of 5 meters x 5 in autocad, like your example..... in 3d study is with high measurements, type 3,8 x 3,8 or similar things. I realize snapping over the reference plans in 3ds just to get an idea.
I don't understand what the problem is and I can't solve it.
And yet I have 3ds feet.

the fact of "import as meters" should be set in import options. Now I don't remember how and I don't have the software subhand, however, when you open, or care, there is also the size to use for import.

this option is independent from the settling of the program, and is independent from the units used in autocad, as explained by the ilario
