Good morning,
Does anyone know how to solve this? :
a few months ago I created a plate with a window and a shaped contour, which then passed to the inventor cam and I postprocessed to get the files to send in the car.
now that I should do the processing I open the folder and find only the .nc files and not the .ipt file that probably was deleted by error.
can you and how, trace from the file created by the post processor to the model, or at least to the contours profiles?
These are simple processing with 2-axis cam.
help

If it is not a very complicated profile from the post you should be able to pull out some odds from which to rebuild.
but it is a long job that requires taaaanta patience:wink:

It's not very complicated, but it's always 330 lines of writing.... and I should start to fresare tomorrow morning

Did you look at the processor editor on inventor?
There is some tool to "draw" the path from the text of the post processor, but I don't know if you can extract something.
It's a tool I never use, I don't know him well.

Yeah, I've already gone.
there is the tool redesign that recreates the tool path.
it is not exportable in dxf or analogues, but at least it shows point, where the tool is located, so I have a clearer view of where the various rays are located.
