Good morning to all,
Does anyone know if it is possible, starting from a data table (excel, txt, etc.), get a dwg design?
to make an example: I have a table in which the x and y coordinates of a set of points are coloured and a given relative to the electromagnetic field at that point. Is there a possibility of obtaining from this table a dwg containing the above points that if selected give me the information on the electromagnetic field (or even only displayed as a label)?
Thank you.

certainly.. and it is not even complicated if you are familiar with civ3d (but if you ask this question I fear it is not exactly so ^^^ )

I have enough quiet dimisticness.
You will know better than me civilization 3d since you are a sacred monster and you know the myriad of tools it is composed of. of course I can not know them all and especially use them all always. every job needs certain tools and as they need one they discover. I've discovered enough until today and I'm not here to list them and brag with you, I miss this. If you want to give me some tips, thank you otherwise thank you very much for the interest;)

I didn't mean to look arrogant.
do you know the command to import file points? never used?

No figures. It was to clarify.
I know him. I happened to use it, but with that I can only import points limited to the x, y and z coordinates (chosing for example the penz format). But I have seen that there are other types of formats ("project database" , "autodesk loadable file", etc.), perhaps to be able to insert other information on the point (and then make it a sort of gis) I have to work with one of these formats?

Not exactly. You have to create your own format. If you want to pass me the xls file, I will give you a short tutorial

Thank you very much. You were very kind.
Just one thing. at the time of uploading the file gives me error ("no correspondence found for the file format of points") and does not charge the points.
I saved the excel file in .csv and loaded that. I also verified the correspondence of the names of the columns in case it could depend on that and are in place. I don't know where I'm wrong.

If you saved the csv from excel eye that, at least to me, did a trick tied presumably to the format...in the east and north columns check that the coordinates are not written with spaces in the middle. to me the east wrote xxx[spazio]xxx e il nord x[spazio]xxx[spazio]xxx

for the record, I tried to create a .txt format delimited by commas and using its data file (prepared specially) it all works great.
There has to be some problem with the .csv file that I will try to fix being however more convenient and quick to use.
Thanks again;)
