Hello.

starting from a solid, can you cut out a portion of his face and impose constraints\forces only on the portion? at the moment I was able only to impose the coincidence of the mesh nodes with points I gave.

we managed to solve the problem as follows, place

first go on start->shape-> generative shape design.
at this point select the face and use the command "extreme" to extract it (path: insert-> operations->tre).
always on such face go to create a sketch (with the command "crash")with the profile of the surface on which you want to apply the force and then, according to this you go to make a cutting operation with the command "cut" .
then go out of the gsd environment, go into part and use the command "sewing surfaces" to sew the cut out surface on the solid. in an analysis environment you can now apply the force on the surface that interests you (below well during the application of the load to select from the shaft "sewing surface.num" and not directly from the 3d).

in practice it is enough to have the surface of the solid (eventually trimmed properly with various projections) and then sew it with the face of the solid.
