Hello, everyone.
most models I use are angular sectors of a toroid, described by surfaces. to create complete models, therefore I use the "geographical series". this method works properly with surfaces, but not with solids. in detail: I imported a surface model (from iges) that represents an angle of 30°, I closed the open surfaces, I joined everything and I solidified. select the created surfaces and create the series: if imposed repetitions at 30 ° the feature fails, while if imposed, for example, the repetitions at 30.5° works.
Who can explain why?
How can I do to create the correct model (solid!)?
I attach a banal prt that illustrates the problem.
