I've been a month since I grew up in inventor.
I must say that I have some difficulty managing with the new cad. One of the biggest problems I'm experiencing is that I don't know how to adjust with templates. In particular, I use a lot of sheets.
when I am in sheetmetal environment and I try to change a sheet already created by someone else maybe the sheet thickness is blocked and nn I can change it if not going to create a new sheet rule, but I have to go out the window of editing processing.
How do I do this directly? I tried to save the template on the public folder by creating a new rule. I also noticed that if I use external studies, these send us in addition to all files also the folder with templates (not in the public folder therefore)
How would it be better to organize work for the use of templates?

from the "default sheet values" command, you can change the thickness in 2 ways
1) select from the drop-down menu the desired thickness by choosing or creating a new style/lamiera
2) "force" the thickness independently of the chosen style, through the check; personally I always prefer to work with style, through which you can set thickness, development rule, material, and downloads for single and multiple folds.in case you create a new style, after creating it, select it with the right buttonand give the command "Save in the style library"In this way, the new style will be present in all .ipt sheet files, new and old.

attention, the command is active only in case, the active project, has the style set in reading and writing; modify the button dx
