I just wanted to say that from my experience, that it stops to autocad 2010, I noticed that the software untied by autocad have a management of the solids faster and more flexible. I have no experiences with autocad 2011 and here I refer to those who use it.

I just constantly hear about these proprietary engines that seem to be perfect (mmmmmmmmmmmmm). in my opinion autocad guarantees the best element of dialogue with "the outside world". This is justified by the fact that, even very well equipped studies, they have some autocads in their ut. I do not doubt that they are powerful platforms, but at what price? from a 2007 autocad (for example) to a 2011/12, the steps ahead are countless.

You think it might be a viable alternative to a powerful but expensive sw like es tekla?

I asked just before the holidays directly to the dealer and, as mentioned in another forum, they tell me that the new version will be released for February. they did not want to tell me the news, but only that there will certainly be two big ones and (to tell them) they will be really big [non vedo l'ora!]. I also asked for manuals and confirmed that most of the paper material is already translating it.
