Hello, everyone! !

I arrived, after hours, to the union of all the individual surfaces in a single surface and then to be able to create the solid with the command "closes a surface with volume", but it gives me error because there are pieces that are not closed (I understood it with "creation board", in fact if it did not make me the edge then the surface was closed, but unfortunately it was not so). I would like to know if there is a command to close the 'holes' quickly without having to remake the individual faces and reconnect them!!!! I don't know a command like fill hole for mesh!!

Thank you very much for the help!

Hello giuliana
there are 2 steps to join in a single surface.
I have attached image with highlighted icons to use.
The icon #1 is the first step you have to do, select all surfaces and then join them with the join command.
the second passage is with the second icon (compons). this command should eliminate all micro apertutures that are not considered with the edge command.

hello to all ... I also use catia but not having done courses I find it difficult to understand some things.. example:
Let's assume that in my opinion, if people draw only with surfaces for me they are unable to draw!apparte this ..
I have a plate made only of surfaces, working I met it in the catia cam series difficulty both in roughing and finishing
Can you please tell me how I can make all those surfaces a single solid to work? ?
thanks morning

Let us assume that in my opinion, if people draw only with surfaces for me, they are unable to draw!...someone might offend, I first. but let it go.. .
how can I make all those surfaces a single solid that can workI imagine you've had problems because those who provided you with the model gave you an iges. I don't even want to imagine modeling a plate only with surfaces. but let it go.. .

victorious has already given you part of the solution: follow his indications, close to "volume" the surfaces and then, in the workbench of solids (it is called partdesign) find the icon that corresponds to the name of "close surface".
if the volume was closed properly (without coils) you will find a solid in your hands. but let it go.. .

next time, if you can, send a step.

hi giuliana tries to use the union command (join), gsd module, select all surfaces and after which try to mess with tolerance by inserting values up to a maximum of 0.1 mm (I usually give them 0.05) then press preview and if in your model you find green lines, it means you have to increase tolerance. parts with very low values until the highlighted lines disappear:biggrin:
