Bye to all,
I have this problem when I apply any material to the part (not on colors - use catia v5 r19). There's this distortion I can't solve. What do you think depends on?
the surfaces below are good, the machine is performing but... can you give me some clarification? Thank you!

Hello paki

so we can not understand:rolleyes: post the material if you can, I have the mathematical model

Hi.

Hello rs4,
I used the "jeans", but the same effect you have with all the "texts and skins" contained in the library. on the model unfortunately I can not
to send it, but I tell you that the effect you have also on a simple cylinder.
there are these lines... and then the "weighing" of the object with the material, which always leaves the trace of the union of the pieces.
I ask too much about the module? Should I use photo studio? I mean, I expect a homogeneous distribution of the reason not a gluing pattern wallpaper.
I have attached other images, can they make the idea?
Thank you again! :finger:

Maybe I didn't explain you have to attach at least the material....

that is the catalog file:tongue:

but the material used is contained in the default "catalog.catmaterial" in catia, do you need to send the library file? only the material in question then I couldn't do it. Can you please explain? textiles, plastics, steels and more, should already be contained, even in part, in your system. and a basic library provided.

once applied the material and with the inconvenience reproduced, try to untick these two options.

thanks for feedback

Hello, falonef,
thank you for the answer but do not go!
I have the feeling that the problem is not in the graphics capacity, but in the quality of the surface and in the characteristics of the material. for the first I confirm that it is very good (but very good), for the second I do not!
I'd like to figure out how boulevard put the image on a surface.
I keep fighting...thank you! post the problama in a graphic section?
Is that possible? Have a good day!

I tried too, I think it's a problem of the type of bluejeans material
I don't have much time to try with other materials and let us know

...
No new ones for the moment... I can't spend much time, but as soon as I can see it better. I keep you informed... thank you for the moment:finger:

That's it!
Let me explain. there is a magic button able to "map" pre-defined forms,
or more complex surfaces, up to the "weighing" of each small, single surface.
then you need some retouching of the variables (the magic alone is not enough), that the operator puts his!
I checked it using the material you see in the image...and already!
this must be homogeneous throughout its distribution without interruption of continuity, cyclic jumps or wallpaper effect, and without leaving for strange deviations in the curvature points.
in the preview look what happens by mapping differently. distortion! That's what happened before! That's great.
available for more details!
Thank you!
