Hello again to all,

I looked for the subject, but I didn't find anything.

work in the automotive industry and I have to interface with designers using nx and catia.

until today nothing transcendental only that now in the design I have to insert the grid with the x-y-z references of the car with the position from the origin.

I just finished a design and draw it by hand on each tile was disarming, I feel like I went back 10 years.

However, I need to devise a solution.

I thought I'd peel all the grid up to 3m in x, 2m in y and 2m in z in the template file both in combination and in part. once I modeled the dowel in the position I need, in the table setting I turn on the sketch and gate everything I don't need.

It's a bit snout but you're not thinking of me.

until today I was working focusing on the planes of the part but now it touches me to draw the dowel where it will be physically compared to the car and on the design 2d it takes the references (maledetti pallini)

for those who are not in the sector I attach some image of what I am talking about

greetings

Hi.

in the forum I discovered this post but it is by catechism:
http://www.cad3d.it/forum1/showthread.php?t=1551&highlight=reticoloImagine having a whole car open in the pc.

the car originates from the front wheels and is in half-car compared to y.

from the origin catia and nx trace the position of each element of the car in order to identify it in space 3d.

each table that the technical offices elect a math of the car or a welding equipment etc. put in the 2d views the odds to identify that element in space.

who does equipment practically draws on the contrary that is the position of the piece to be treated that commands and you draw around the machine or tool.

I hope I've been clear even though I realize it's a bit fucked up speech:finger:

in 2011 there is the grid command.
the problem that puts notes without the value.
a macro would do for you.
I had seen one around for solidworks a long time ago, but I don't remember where.
try to visit the sites present in solidworks resources on this forum.

Hi.
What do you need to know?

dear romy, as I understand you too I had asked this question, if someone knows some application or macro, but I'm afraid that it doesn't exist, for sw, it is difficult to believe that with this softw.. you can't do it. Anyway good luck, if you solve it goes to the wing thanks:redface:
