Hello again to all,
I looked for the subject, but I didn't find anything.
work in the automotive industry and I have to interface with designers using nx and catia.
until today nothing transcendental only that now in the design I have to insert the grid with the x-y-z references of the car with the position from the origin.
I just finished a design and draw it by hand on each tile was disarming, I feel like I went back 10 years.
However, I need to devise a solution.
I thought I'd peel all the grid up to 3m in x, 2m in y and 2m in z in the template file both in combination and in part. once I modeled the dowel in the position I need, in the table setting I turn on the sketch and gate everything I don't need.
It's a bit snout but you're not thinking of me.
until today I was working focusing on the planes of the part but now it touches me to draw the dowel where it will be physically compared to the car and on the design 2d it takes the references (maledetti pallini)
for those who are not in the sector I attach some image of what I am talking about
greetings
