groove around wall

Good morning to all
I want to do some grooves on the facade of a wall and so far no problem. I load the family of profiles that interests me and with a lot of ease the software creates the groove on the wall. At one point, however, this wall, climbing upwards (behaving of course) meets another wall placed on the side of the cross (i.e. internal and not external, but on the other hand, I hope to explain myself).
the command does not work as a result and does not channel me
Can anyone give me any indication?

attach a thin wall (of the thickness of the groove to e.g.) on the side "end"

Thank you very much for the tip! In fact, perhaps I expected too much from that command and to think about it well during the installation, a "re wholesale" is made just as if another wall is laid. Thank you again!
