grossi problemi per simulare con ansys

Hi, I'm new in 3d modeling and ansys simulation. I made a model of a kind of longherone with various support plates with solidworks and exported it to ansys to simulate tensions. when I apply the loads and do the calculation, it tells me that there are no degrees of free freedom active. What the fuck am I supposed to do? Can you give me a step-by-step description from the beginning of what I have to do? Moreover, how do you apply normal loads to oblique surfaces? ? ?

I'm working on a similar problem.
I imported the geometry, corrected it a little bit with the predefined commands (in particular I used the repair silver in the modeller design) and then passed to the mechanical.
here you have to set contacts between the various parts (for example between plate and longherone I puti bonded). then make a mesh of adequate size and type (I would use the dominant hex method, instead of the one with the tetrahedri, you find it by right on mesh in the treeview) even if it gives you a warning for the pieces of small thickness.
then move to the fixing, and here you know how the longherone is fixed to the rest of the world...
for the application of forces: select the face, button dx and enter the force. in the various parameters you need to insert you can choose, in addition to the value in n, the direction: or via carrier, or via the general coordinate system (or one you created). to make it normal to a sloping surface, if this surface has a thickness I would use the carrier command (which is yellow because it wants to enter a line): as vector select a edge of the thickness of the plate.

but my 3d model is already solid: I did the various parts, then made an assembly and eventually a single part created by assembly.

However I would like to know how to remake the Triad of Cartesian Axes so that they are aligned to my model.
