Hello everyone,
I'd need help being in the first place.

I am trying to shape a plot with 3ds through import from autocad.
I have created in autocad of the level curves as spiline defining already in acad the different altitudes of elevation.
when amount in 3ds I would like to use the advanced aec but while selecting one or all imported spiline I do not appear in any way the ground button.

I tried to import polylines to spline posts by unchecking occludi objects closed in the dialog box (to force 3ds to import polylines as spline) but nothing, the ground button does not appear!

Can someone help me understand why? ..or at least there is someone who can recommend me a simple method to create the course of the ground in 3ds starting from the level curves in autocad!

thank you so much to those who can help me

and then the commando terrain should be available. . .
when it amounts in 3ds your autocad file, you must select entities as items to import.

I often had the same problem....I solved so: you don't have to use autocad level curves, I take them back with the spline and max and then I create the ground. . alternative= displacement but you have to make the map adhoc inside ps. hello
