someone would tell me how to connect the online guides of catia v5 to feutures, in the sense that if we click on the question mark and then on a command, it opens directly the page related to the topic in the browser.
In essence, I believe, you should give a directory in the options of catia, in the folder where the guide is installed, but always refuses it... why? !

you have to admin and make sure you have to point the folder containing the installation of the documentation.
in our case the folder is called "b20doc"

Those empty spaces and brackets on the path indicated by you make me think badly.

try to copy for example the documentation as follows:
c:\b16doc

and point that path.

the problem could be the encoder to the receptacle index that is not compatible with the catia version you use (the r16 guide is not compatible with cat r19).

Sorry but eprché should not be compatible. I have not tried but theoretically the version of the online should be independent from the version cad

I personally found that some guides in line especially those in Italian language, were not accepted by the most recent realizations, now I do not remember exactly what but one was already the 17 did not accept the older guides (e.g. 13).
Usually the error message reported to me that there were problems with the search index.
