Yes, for both questions. Unfortunately I can't answer you better because that of highlighting all the containers (in my case optional if only containers or other) is an internal procedure that I can't pass.
As for the bom I thought it was osd default not to show you the objects in the containers when you create the bom, without special characters or anything: but as you say, I think that also is an internal procedure.

for 1), I have seen that you can do from the binoculars that there is above the tree of the model, just do "define new search", and at that point look for type of object = container.

The 17th, however, works in pairs with the eit pdm, so I do not know if the possible problem is to the cad or pdm. I say "possible" because the colleague who told me the problem had not yet managed to isolate the problem, so maybe the cause is not in the use of the containers but elsewhere.
