help are the first weapons

Hello, everyone! Premitting that I am approaching this program these days I would like your help, if possible, regarding a processing.

I put the finished part and the raw piece. now I would like to obtain the first processing that is the side of the piece. in practice I can do it but it does the contour as it is without taking into account the piece from which I have to work. In other words I would expect you to approach the final bill taking into account that in the curve part there is more material to be removed... and quidi do more passes in step over there. which 2.5d processing (because my cutter only does those) should I select? I hope I've been clear if you don't ask me. . .

p.s. there is a simulation that besides the tool path let me see also the material that is removed and give me an indication of the time necessary for processing?

I solved I draw the piece as I really think I take it on the cutter bite. inserted that base I insert manual feature and then click on the face. I recognize it as a face with the open external perimeter, equal to the crude and the inner one as closed... I'd say that's right. I then add two operations 2.5; an emptying and a hs contouring for finishing. If someone cares about place the file so you give me an idea about how to do the rest.
