very kind, I address you to have advice on this:
I should create a database or excel list that automatically carry only a few items present in different 2d boards made up until now.
example, I should only export data concerning:
file name
maximum and minimum size
material
typology
Supplier
line or collection
date of creation
revision.
maybe even inserting a miniature of the article
I note that the tables created with solidworks 2010 are not generated by 3d models but only realize in 2d and exported later to dxf and pdf.
How can I do that? ?

I'll give you some dispassionate advice. . .
buy a pdm, if you start with excel, access, filemaker, you will come to a point that will collapse everything and you will definitely have to dirt in that direction, so always better prevent than cure. .

the database would require me with addition of images, think of a sort of catalog where you see the article that interests you and find its features.
I forgot......... other users who should consult this database do not use absolutely solidworks

quoting 1000% ozzy, you need a pdm (which can work without solidworks)
