help nastran

hello to all

My problem may arise from the fact that I begin to approach these new codes....or perhaps from the fact (but I don't think) that I found the 2005 nastran (with patran 2005) and to follow a guide of the 2001 version...(I don't think there are any problems)

now the fact is very simple... I have a banal beam stuck on one side and weighing 150000 n on the other... banal analysis just to understand the code...
...I chose the folder ... I followed all the guide and with patran I created the .dat file,
then I started the nastran and untiring the previous .dat file and the keys (as per guide) scr=yes mem=10m I created the following files:

.log, .f06 and .f04

while the one necessary to the patran for the analysis, op2, ... is not there and you do not see!!!

Where can the error be?? ? ?
Where do I look? ? ?

and then I see and I don't know what a file called: patran.ses.01
What is it? ? ?

then I wanted to ask:
is it normal that the nastran in the execution ... after selecting the .dat file starts .. I do not see anything (some message on the monitor) and terms with two "bip bip" as sound? ? ?

Finally. . .
in the cd there were besides the nastran and patran that I installed, also licensing 9.2 and the manager analysiss that I did not consider necessary to install, as to good end the previous ones. . .

quoto lorenzo.. .nastran may not have created the op2 because of a fatal. It usually happens when you do not correctly define the property sets or constraints.
or you didn't notice and selected the option that creates a .xdb instead of the op2...look if by chance between the files a .xdb appears quite large

no .06 and .04 files create them but they are empty! are the first times I use the program, but I followed the instructions of a guide (fast guide to use..., sprout).

It's cool, too. However you do not see anything because nastran does not have a graphical interface. is only a solutor, therefore it is limited to processing, solving the mega linear system (in the case of solution 101, linear static, in other cases does not depend)

I think that may be the problem...I don't even understand how paran works without the licensing manager!
