help solid edge 20 - refused academic license code

I own an academic license distributed by the professor of the course and I had already entered when I first installed if 20; because of a problem with xp, I had to format the laptop and then re-install everything.
It's already happened to have to reinstall if 20 after formatting the notebook, but today after reinstalling if 20, when I go to enter the license code in my possession, it gives me a screen saying:
"The key inserted for solid edge academic is not valid for this machine. contact the unigraphics solutions or system administrator to receive the right key. "That license code worked three times over a year, but now it gives me that mistake.
How can I solve this? I'm a little anxious, because I have to change and complete the project for the exam... help! !

How do you mean the selicense.dat file?
if you look that if you reform your pc to reinstall windows, the serial number of the hard disk automatically changes, so being the licenses of if tied
you have to regenerate it.
so it works for commercial licenses, but I assume it is the same thing for academics as well.

I don't know the academic licenses, but with the normal ones the license file is the selicense.dat file.
If you still have a copy, open it with wordpad and read the hard disk code on which it is calculated, then change the laptop hard disk code to make it consistent.
otherwise you need a new code.
