Hello, guys.
I have a small but at the same time great problem. I have a tree with double shouldering and I have to study the trend of tensions on the shoulder.
now the problem I have is as follows:
- I create the bdf file and I bring it to nastran 2007 r1. there creates all the files, even the xdb file, and especially the .f06 file also tells me end of job.
the problem lies in the fact that when on patran "attack" the xdb file tells me only begin attach result ......... But it never ends!! so it doesn't show me the results of the simulation.

I hope someone can help me.

Hello jackal1134,

problems may be related to performance/size of the results file:

1-la 2007 is not exactly the latest version, if you go with newer versions, you have definitely better performances
2-Your pc is not very performing
3-or make a simpler model (with fewer elements) or set nastran post cards, to calculate fewer things or calculate them only on certain elements (groups etc.)
