I'm trying to figure out how a thermopila works but on google I'm not finding anything clear. I'm finding little.
the only thing I read is that it is a series of thermocouples in which the reference and measurement joints are at the same temperature.

However I have never used/built a thermocouple but I will have the opportunity to use a short thermopile:)
