Good morning to all,
I should make in inventor 2024 a diamantatura on the sheet, but not enough an indication on the table with a sketch; I should perform a modeling as it really is.
You know how to do that?
if then you can do with an ipart or ifeature better

the diamantatura is a deformation and not its own processing of simple fold.
If you want your model to physically present such processing you need to make a pyramid solid without being able to use specific sheet metal controls. in fact there is the command " cosmetic axis line" only on the flat model to have the bending information only on the development.

If you have to do something like this is a repeated emptied pyramid several times.
the single diamantatura I would make it draw a pyramid and empty the excess volume up to the thickness of the sheet.

Okay, I was hoping there would be some kind of function that would reproduce a funnel through ipart
cmq is good also the cosmetic axis line, I did not know this command
