how to inherit part information in part

Good morning to all,

Sorry to bother you, but I'm at first with the use of solidwork, I have a problem, I'm realizing the modeling "2.sldprt" which contains within it an inheritance of another model "1.sldprt" imported through the input-> part command.
now I would need to bring back some info of the 1.sldprt part in the 2.sldprt table as for example the design number of the imported part and its weight. Now I'm doing it by writing a note by hand but this could give rise to errors.
Is it possible somehow to capture this information automatically? Could you please indicate the steps to follow?
Thank you.
Hi.

part in the part does not communicate any useful properties. only connected geometric association.

This time you're wrong meccanicg.
the insertion of the part can be indicated if the properties of the cut or file must be inherited.
when inserting the mel property manager part where the elements to be inserted appear (axes, plans, sketches...) there is the option for properties.
later I see to attach an image

to me the text properties never inherited them. You can see that I'm wrong and I basically never served to run an inherited property.
If you can do better?

depends on the version.
in 2014 it does so only with multibody parts and with separate cut, since 2015 they also included custom properties.

Hi.
I thank you for the info, I have sw 2017 and in fact, after selecting in the menu insert-part the file propitiage, I find myself in the list of the new model the propitiages of the file inserted.
now these infos should make you appear on the table of the new file; I have waxed to insert them with the connection to the propitiage but do not appear as I have not been able to transfer them to the model *.slddrw.
I should transfer the popiage "filename" (see imm1.png), which contains the design number of the part inserted in the new model, in the propiage of the table and consequently on the design.
I tried to create a new popiage in the *slddrw file by calling it "name file gr" but the syntax of the command I entered will not give me the desired result (see imm2.png), where am I wrong? Can you please direct me to the right path?

Thank you.

but do you want to insert the information of the part inserted in the drawing?

Does he want to insert the part that contains the name of the part that leaves???? I think I understand that he wants that in the main piece the code of the piece he inserted but does not want to do it as a separate cut.

I don't think he doesn't want to do this. I don't think he knows it's the only way to do it.
because thinking of finding in the properties of the file, at least from what you understand from the images, the properties of the inserted pèarte is an absurdity... if it were in the case of several parts inserted as it would be possible to handle them?
Perhaps before embarking on relatively complex uses of the software it is worth investing some time to do the tutorials and understand how certain things behave.

So you see my first answer is worth? I mean, you can't do that? Many think that you can transmigrate so many things and forget that there are logical things and you can not do what you have in a priori pumpkin.

you can do, using the separate cut.
the properties of the inserted part cannot be inserted in the file properties. and it's a logical speech.

I tried but I couldn't. excuses the little experience, but is the cutting distinct not only used for welding? I can't figure out how to do it with the separate cut.
does not exist any command or syntax reported on the cartilage that allows me to inherit the propiities present in the model sldprt?

Thank you.

the distinct cut you do even with a single body made with extrusion.
but what property do you want to insert in the cart? those of the part or the part inserted in the part?

give yourself a favor, do the tutorials

I would need to insert in a table inserted in the chart the drawing number of the part inserted in the part.
I have followed your instructions and now I find myself having the files of the part that are inserted (see attached file).
what I can't do is display this info in the cartiglio.
