how to manage images in revit

Could someone please tell me how to insert cartography in revit?
Can the images be cut in revit to extract them?
I have the image of a 1:5000 scale prg I want to take it to revit and put it in a 1:2000 scale table also only an extract...... how can I do? ....

you should cut it first and the sizing must be done manually that I know
