but correct from a normative point of view?
If that's why I don't know what to say to you, (I would also say: screw it, but since you're a student and you have to answer your prof....) for the rest it seems to me that I can go..maybe I would do the section line that starts from the outside of the piece then enters center and then continues as yours..

Maybe I explained badly.. .
the design is made with autocad, I tried to do it with inventor but without success.

if I have a moment of time place the various tests

Hi.
Thank you.

do the section line at 90° (as tarkus says) , the only thing is that it put only one arrow and not two. .

I also found this system, which among those I have tried is what works best, but it is not according to norms.. .

the best thing I managed to do is the correct section line, that is to the center of the piece, the view that comes out of the table, I make a normal projected view and on this I do a split section with sketch a rectangle, but sincerely it seems a little complicated to do something that should be quite common

Hi.

that I know, at the normative level, there is no need to put the a-a section on such a view.
on drawing books similar views make them as classical projected views with semisection without an a-a indication.
So I think if you do only your view projected with the rectangle and the split without the indication of section you are "normal" anyway.

But if the "prof" wants to see what you want to get, do it like this, with the method you found so you make it happy and it is perfect; then when you use it for work you will do differently as you feel comfortable, clear and fast. to me have always taught that you always try to follow the regulations, but sometimes for reasons of space, practicality, etc... you can do everything, the important thing is that everything is clear and clean and that the operator has no difficulty understanding.

so you have two... and it seems very clean. . .

as you say you can do if you make a single view, then in that case it is correct.

I had also tried this solution but it is not correct because the semisection should be soHello again

right click on the view, "type general size", "projected"
(translation from English, in reality could be something different)
