Hello, thank you for accepting me in the forum.
I introduce myself, I am 21 years old and as a study title I did 4 years of cfp, so I do not even have the maturity. parte apart from this, I knew I was awake and tough and in fact at 19 years through the mechanical prof I found work as a 3d designer of industrial and agricultural sheds, steel structures for white rooms and pergolas. My role is to create codes and through the architectural and calculations of engineers to do the executive project in order to make orders, productions, lists, display with 3d issues etc...
As it is a not really beautiful moment and my salary is about 1000 euros, I wanted to know if these skills (that in these two years I have refined to the maximum ), can be worth more or if in the end I still have to do it because of the age, count that I directly relaunch myself with engineers, geometries, geologists etc... and by myself I prepare distinct and 2d drawings, that's because I feel a little underrated economically I wanted to know if it's normal and if there was any way to increase my value as a designer over the years... depends on what you want to do if you stay in the field: structures, carpenters, or you want to know something more than mechanics.
in this case maybe, you have to take the books back to get an idea of the calculations that are behind the components etc.
If you read a few posts in this forum, you will find yourself that in 2 years you do not become designers, there is always to learn. Perhaps, in your current position, you've already learned everything you need, you're young, so rightly you have to look for new ways, what you've seen so far is just a small part, but with good will and passion you can take great steps!

Sorry I don't know this type of design but if in 2 years you've already learned everything you need to know or you're a genius or the subject and very simple.I am 28 years old project and I learn something every day.

more than agreeing with both, however mario in the end was the answer n°2 and looking around having created a portfolio with all projects designed by me from 0... with relative rendering... made with soloworks so not exactly the top but not even to throw and the first fucking question they ask you is how much you take? Well, you'll get the same ccnl from me just like what you have now... design (I designed) wooden structures (passers, sheds, roofs, houses...) for 18 years, from instrumental relief in the construction site, to the dimensions (which often step to the engineers for their verification and signature), 3d design with all the processing that serve to produce the elements with a cnc cutting center.

as I wrote in another post, the best colleague I have (of 3), who also does the part of executive design and transfer to the machine (no reliefs and not calculations), is one that has the diploma of company secretary. before I got there, they put her to draw, and with time she was made. is fast, precise, and if you have a doubt ask instead of making caxxxte.

to tell you that what you do, she, and I believe in good part, is drawing, not designing. and eventually, probably, your company doesn't think you're as irreplaceable as you think.

final: 4 months ago I decided to change the company, and I was afraid I would put them in crisis, for the reasons mentioned above. In reality they found an external engineer who for ultra-honest prices does all the dimensions that I made, an external technician who draws the most rognose things, and, if you exclude a bit of inflating in the office, they actually passed the thing without great fears. And I was worried... we're all useful, but essential not.

then, if you go to the site the renderings are all mine, the images are not of high quality but anyway to make you understand, I made the drawing + distinct + studied how to move an agrivoltaic plant for a start-up that collaborates with my boss and you also paid my design hours aside ( maybe even at a cost greater than he pays me) for this, if you go to the site you see better, but besides the renderings I collaborated with of course the electrical system etc... has been studied by those of competence, in addition to this design industrial sheds for those who hold chickens for hay and bitters... Moreover the product is quite "poor" technically, you have easily replaceable skills in no time.
