Hello are at the beginning with solidworks, I have always used solid edge. I did a solidworks draft yesterday starting from a part file, now I should make some changes in the draft but I can't find the command that allows me to do so. in solid edge it was enough I used the 2d convert button and everything was easy. Help me in advance.

What is that you can't find?
Have you done that? Let's say yes, since you wrote that you did it and suppose you saved it (where you can only know it); to open it you have various solutions:
1 solidworks as many programs keep memory of the recent files on which you worked 8addition in 2012 allows you to block those you prefer)
2 from the folder where you saved him... of course.
3 from the menu file clicca su creates design on the side if there is already a design and has not been moved from the native folder then the program asks you if you want to open that or make a new one
4 right button on the part (both feature manager and the solid) and find the voice open design

He just wants to inert the 2d, like autocad.

Maybe I was unclear. the question is this I can change the draft in solid works? i.e. can I change the imported profile from a part file? in solid edge you can do by accessing the 2d convert function

you were very clear, I did a quick search both in the guide and it seems that:

1) to disconnect a view seems that the only way is to save in dwg and reopen.

2) if you are aware of something similar to "drawing in the sight" of if, you should be able to use sketch tools also in the drawing module.

excuse my limitations but I can't understand: what's the use of a cad3d and then paciughi in the tables? Can't you model objects like they have to be?

hunter thanks for the answer, I just wanted to ask you a clarification, if I use the draft mode in the draft cmq I can not change the imported solid I can only add lines and other but nn I can remove anything.

Yes, you can hide them.. have you tried to click on the lines/archi/enter?

but explain why you want to do this? the table is "the mirror" of the model, what makes it different? And how do you find yourself?

@cacciatorino, what do you use that function of if?
the function "drawn in the view" only to reach various axes or annotations, the function of disconnecting the view practically never, only in very special cases but almost always in the phase of study, and practically never for production drawings.

I have tried in all ways the draft of solid works imported from the file part can not be modified, I can only add new lines etc. etc. but the initial profile cannot be changed.
responding to those who tell me what you want to do all this, I answer saying that I have to draw a project 2 times once as a finished piece and once as a project with overmillimeters for welding it makes me very comfortable to draw in the views of the draft.

you should use configurations for this purpose. in the same aprte you can create a rough configuration and a workmanship, and then choose which to put on the table.

orrore!
there are configurations to do what you need without disconnecting the 2d view from the 3d model, otherwise it is worth using autocad or the tecnigraph.. .
