Good morning, everyone. I have been a proè creo user for several years. imposed the projects with the skeleton trying to apply with intelligence the parameterization. I now find myself a machine tool company (vertical towers) that uses creo direct 18 with a pdm. It leaves me very perplexed the impossibility of setting or skeleton, the total lack of parameters, and , dulcis in fundo , a management of the distinct base that causes me to fall the jewels.... possible that you can not set the parameters before entering the project on the table? With winchill, I have everything under control right away. Here they make a "set" project and then recheck everything during the table, and eventually "disassemble" lassism to load all of the database. a delirium of time thrown away. is there someone who can help me understand how to set a distinct base with parameters in files?

I beat both because now I work at a company where there is not even pdm and 2d tables are saved in scattered folders here and there (some according to the client, others according to the code) and 3d are saved only the overalls even in the personal folders of the individual designers.

However from what seemed to me to understand you have a pdm, which is probably that of the reference software house, first for example I used pe3 and pe2 of the cdm and is highly customizable.
the pdm tied to worst direct creo with which I had to deal was workmager, but I used it a few months in 2005.
