I have been a trade mark and work on catia for many years (from release 6 or 7 that were very unstable, today we are at r 19 and we also talk about v6).
If you haven't found a solution, we can see you find it.
You must know that catia is not a difficult software to learn. I think you can immediately "taste" its potential. however, provided they are rigorous and methodical.
otherwise bad habits or notions "mal learned" will be highly invalidating.
