Good evening, I am a designer/designer, passionate about using solidworks.
for now I prefer top-down design, in fact in my working experiences, I created configurable assemblies through the equation window. very convenient and fast in providing outputs, attached tables.
change of work, now they present me other opportunities. I found projects, where each part has its own excel table (which I did also in previous works, nothing new), but I do not find the method so fast in providing me with the necessary outputs, as in the previous experience.
in these days I am banging, to see if with the only excel table of the master axieme, it is possible non configuare, but well yes, change directly the quotas of the underlying parts (? )
I found the following problems:
In case, I'm also studying driveworks, the solid tool, someone knows it, can you use it?

I found the following problems:
qui it says that "When you insert an equation and global variables into a data table, global equations and variables are automatically reflected in the equation dialog box. "
I didn't get a match.
in another link, allow if I did not find it (at work I saved it), there was the wording of the global variable, relative to the table excel, but once inserted, it gives me error, it does not recognize the same formula date of the help.
