iges

hello someone knows a way to get a set starting from an iges file? I have customers who draw with other 3d programs ( rhino /solid edge /solid works ) send their assemblies to a single iges or stp file, when amount these files I see them as a single part and to work as an element of the set is really complicated.
Does anyone know how to revert the iges file to an inventor set where I have the individual parts to work on?

If the iges file was created with the parts, inventor opens it as a whole, unless you say you charge it as a single part

to me does not open it as together and I do not find the way: either with the command import or simply opening the file with the double click I always find it in a single part.
What are you doing?
